Welcome to our new look site

Bigger, better, easier to access we have taken your feedback and made a lot of improvements. Everything isn't finished yet but we wanted to let you see where we are heading before we introduce the new membership structure. Please be patient, the finished product will be worth waiting for.

Now designed for hockey players all over the world, not just GB and Ireland, you can set a personal home page in your profile to the country of your choice and read the targeted news you are interested in.

FREE access for those who register as basic members

The news, forums, blogs and galleries are all now free access to anyone who registers, a membership fee is only payable if you want to participate in the our competitions and the member only events we will run from time to time. Any discounts we arrange with suppliers, such as those available at RDSports for kit and equipment, will also be exclusive to fully paid members. The new membership fee structure will be announced shortly and it will be tiered so you will have a choice of levels.

Remember the current founder membership status ends on July 31st, so don't delay if you want to take advantage of the £5 lifetime membership offer. As we promised at the start founder members will retain full access to all future site services.

As well as our new fee structure we will make a major announcement about our next event in a few weeks time and we know if you are a hockey fan you will want to be part of it. The event will provide funds for charity as well as funds that we can channel into grass roots hockey.

Our first competitions of the new season will involve the games at the Beijing Olympics, so watch out for an announcement on those.

Need Some Help?

We realise the site has changed a bit and as we continue the build we will post articles to help you use the features and find your way around.

There is an information icon at the right hand bottom corner of this page is where you will find these helpful hints. First thing though if you would like to change your password here is how it's done.

When you log in using the e-mail details we sent you the page has an orange bar just below the google ads that will take you to the password change page. Enter the password from the e-mail we sent you then your new password twice, click save and the new password will work next time you log in.

The banner will be there for a while if you change your mind later.

Could you be a winner in Season 08/09?

Market Deeping were high score champions last season. Next year could it be your team?

This competition was for bragging rights but we run regular big prize competitions every month.

Several members won 100's of pounds worth of kit last season and Upminster won our £500 sponsorship competition last September.

Look out for our Olympic Competition at the end of July

What's to Come

We aim to provide you with the widest range of web tools we possibly can and you wont have to have a degree in web design to use them

When we are finished you will be able to post forum and blog posts, write your own news items and tag them to your team, club, organisation or league. You will be able to add photos, web links and fancy fixture links, and all as easy as writing an e-mail. You can already have news feeds direct to your desktop and club website.

If you don't have a web site of your own you will be able to build it here as easy as pie. Your friends and club colleagues can just take the basic free membership to view and contribute to our site now, or pay our small membership fee if they want to enter our big prize competitions or sponsored events. As a founder member of NE14HOCKEY entry to our events will be free, and we are planning discounts and exclusive offers to full members for the future.

Set your own country Home Page

If you are interested in the news and events from a particular country then there is a drop down box in the profile area where you can select the home page you want, once you are a registered member.
